My new WNDR3700 router has a USB port called ReadyShare that can be shared within my home network. Together with a newly bought Netgear NeoTV 550 media streamer and a large 2 TB external HDD I now have a nice setup that allows me to put all of our DVD's on a single HDD and view those while they get streamed over my humble home network. Now that I'm (nearly) finished all our DVD's are contained in a box not larger than 3 DVD cases combined. Ripping 150+ DVD's is tedious work though...
Next up: synchronise the external HDD with iTunes, that's 5000+ songs...
